LOCATION: Activities take place in Riverside Park, Depot Town, Frog Island Park and Downtown Ypsilanti.
The Ypsilanti Heritage Festival draws families from southeastern Michigan and the greater Detroit Metropolitan area to experience the fun and excitement of this FREE, family friendly, three day event. From historic tours and Civil War Encampment, arts and crafts, stage entertainment, Children’s Village and the always popular Rubber Duck Race, the Ypsilanti Heritage Festival truly has something for everyone.

Parades, contests and delicious food are just some of the surprises that await you and your family. There is so much to see and do, you’ll have to spend a couple of days to do it all!

I-94 to Exit 183; Turn North and follow the signs
or US-23 to Exit 37-A (Washtenaw Avenue) to Ypsilanti and follow the signs

* CITY ORDINANCE:
The City’s special event ordinance section 10-288(c) prohibits the following within the special event area. Dogs except service dogs, horses, farm animals, uncaged domestic animals, snakes, exotic animals, bicycles, skateboards, roller skates, roller blades and glass containers. Free bicycle valet available at the Huron and Cross street entrance.
